There was a rumor in town several years ago about a lady that had a mountain lion in her house. I don’t know if it was true or not but there is a cage in the basement…
I also heard that a guy found two and a quarter pounds of Morel Mushrooms in the backyard of this place. That one is true, the guy was me. =)
Now, you might be wondering what that has to do with you buying a house and really, not much. I just find the history of places kind of interesting so I thought i would pass it on to you.
The best kind of history though, about any house, is the history you make for yourself while you live there. There is plenty of history still to be made in this place once you move in.
To start off with, there is a huge screened in porch on this place. Perfect for relaxing no matter the weather.
This place is pretty big for the price too. over 1800 sq ft. almost 1200 downstairs.
Technically, it’s a 4 bedroom but there is one bedroom downstairs that could easily be a dining room, or an office.
The master is downstairs too along with the kitchen, a laundry room, one full bath, and a mudroom just inside the back door.
In case you are one of those people that hate storms, there is a basement as well. it even has a separate entrance so there is always a way out.
The back yard has a privacy fence but it needs work. the brand new 16×10 shed, however, need nothing! There is also a 20×30 garage. it has just recently been added onto and doesn’t have the siding finished yet which is the reason this place won’t go FHA financing. has to be conventional.
$69,439
