You know, it might not be popular among the politically correct set but…

I like to hunt.

I eat venison.

I eat fish.

I even eat squirrel.

I don’t need a fancy euro-cruiser, I’ll take my old 4 wheel drive truck any day.

and when I get time off, you won’t see me lookin like a beached whale on a stretch of sand. No, You will find me in the woods, or a creek, or tending the hay field getting ready for winter.  And when winter comes, Me and my family won’t be eating some hormone fill beef from the grocery.  We will be eating good healthy food that we grew, or raised, or hunted on our own!

This little 12 acre place bordering Pipe Creek in Madison County would be a great place to do that. Space for a garden, some fruit trees are already here, and several acres to plant more trees and make our own woods.

It’s in a flood plain so any living structure will take some jumping through hoops at FEMA but the front, where the old house was and north of where the persimmon trees are, hasn’t flooded once in the 17 years the current owner had owned it.  I would imagine it shouldn’t be too hard.

and while we are jumping through those hoops, well, that will give me some time to hunt this fall.  There’s gotta be a few deer along that creek and woods somewhere.  If so, I will find them.  Sure will be good to fill up the freezer with!

$7,000 per acre, 12.825 total acres.
